I'm wondering if anyone can help- OH contacted me to see if anyone had come across this before.

He has a BT mobile (useful as I can call him on it from our home phone with no charge).
Today he received a "monthly spend cap near" warning so went on to our account to see why as he hadn't done anything unusual.

On the online account usage there are 17 texts sent today to a phone number which starts 0022 - after a bit of detective work, it seems this is a mobile phone number in Niger, West Africa. Luckily the texts were only 25p each, but it is very odd.
Even stranger is when I looked at the list of texts on the online account, they were there when I first looked, then when I click away and click back to the list, they disappear (even though all the "normal" UK ones he has sent were still on the list. If I log in again, they reappear, but then disappear again if I click the next page and click back. None of the other numbers called do this- they all stay on the page!
The guy at BT didn't want to know- he just kept saying that if they were on the list they must have come from that phone, and that it's not possible to hack it etc. OH has had the phone on him all day and has only texted a local number today. This local text is the only number that shows up for today- there is no record of any other texts when he looks at his phone( so he mustn't have accidentally texted by sitting on the phone or whatever).

Can anyone shed any light on what is going on? How can things disappear and reappear on the online account? Neither of us has ever had this kind of thing happen before.

I'm worried about the BT system- could it make random mistakes like this?
The guy in customer services couldn't have cared less :(
He told me to google the 0022 phone number, which I did- nothing came up.
