I have had two dogs- a Dalmatian and a golden retriever who loved getting vacuumed. You can get a grooming tool which attaches to your vacuum0 -
How often are you brushing the dog currently? I used to brush my black lab daily and that dealt with the worst of it.
Currently I have 4 cats (all different colours) and a dalmatian - so I've 100% resigned myself to having multiple shades of pet hair covering my clothes whatever I wear. And that's after using a roller thing every day!0 -

I have a scaled down version of this: just one cat for now, but tortoiseshell and white.
