Transferring in Speccie

I am currently in the process of transferring my S&S ISA from CSD to Halifax. I've been told that the valuation was sent on the 9th of Feb to Halifax, and they are awaiting Halifax reply.

What happens with any increase/decrease in valuation in the period from valuation being sent and funds transferred?

Ultimately is the amount in your closing platform on the day of transfer the amount that appears in the receiving platform, or is there the potential to miss out on gains/benefit from drops in the market.

The title of the post indicates a "transfer in specie" - this means transferring holdings not cash.

Nothing. You are transferring them in specie. So, you are not out of the market.

Sometime between now and the next 6 months, they will appear on the new platform.

You are mixing it up with cash transfer.

Transferring in-specie is transferring units you hold, the price of the units may go up or down but you will still have the same number of units on each platform.
