Gibraltar - Hints and tips pls!

As the title says anyone have any hints or tips to share for a short break on Gibraltar please?

The bus looks a cheap and suitable way around including to and from the airport but any thing else?

Have a list from trip advisor of top places to visit and tours etc, but any personal recommendations or hidden gems that you can share ?

Many thanks

You can walk from the airport.

    Where are you staying?

Tobacco and cigarettes are cheap, along with alcohol and some electronic devices

You could do a monkey tour or the caves

Our postcards haven't arrived yet, stuck 'em in a box outside the Town Hall 3 years ago.

And according to many folks here there's no delays or problems going to and from Spain.
You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

  • Try not to bring any Gibraltar notes back with you, they may say pounds and have the queens head on them and the shops there do happily take British notes and exchange them £ for £.

But the banks back here will charge to change Gibraltar notes for 'proper ones'

Highly doubtful we'll cross the border but handy to know in case.

Great place to go but be prepared for flight issues (esp. if only for a short break where it could eat into your holiday time)

Plenty of diversions from GIB to Malaga in cases of bad weather adding 4-6hrs onto journey by the time you've cleared Spanish Passport control, found baggage, been bussed to Gibraltar then queued to cross border

Is there somewhere I can check just how many flights are diverted?

I'm guessing more in winter than summer, and as we're travelling in March would like to know the odds
