Lunch packed ready for tomorrow and hopefully another 5 day NSD 'chain'... next weekend I'll see if I can cadge another one but I do find it oh so hard, especially with a child in tow!
Have you thought about a childs purse? Put X amount of money into it at the beginning of the week and dip in during the week as and when child spends are needed. That way it becomes your child's spends - Just a thought :cheesy:Saved Nitty Gritty £7440.75 [149%] / £5000-[Sep] £58.44:starmod: for the 'Save 12k in 2017' #157

That's it, Jo, budgeting the NSD gang way. Allow yourself a set amount for the week, some people put cash into envelopes for each category of spending, and when it's gone it's gone!
Anyway, here's another NSD to join the party, making my total now 7.One life - your life - live it!0 -

PS have you thought about allowed spends at all?
Yes - There's a couple of DD's going out tomorrow, so made up a stock up shopping list within my budget and going to shop for the things that are really needed tomorrow.Saved Nitty Gritty £7440.75 [149%] / £5000-[Sep] £58.44:starmod: for the 'Save 12k in 2017' #157

Yesterday was NSD 6/12
My food budget also was reset and I spent £9.80 of that. I actually can't envisage buying any more food this week so I think that'll be it in terms of food-buying. This is due to my attending an all-day course for the next three days which provides free lunch.
I also think the next three days will be NSDs.0 -
Yesterday was nsd number 6 and today is 7Sealed pot challenge 10 - 123 : )
It all started with a penny and a pot..

Well done starlight and pennydreams for your NSD's :T
Did a shopping stock up today - thank goodness that's over with :rotfl:
Will be back on the NSD as from tomorrow with No. 11 - I think I'm going to fill the chamber pot and smash my original 15 NSD target for the month :rotfl:

8/15 went for a lovely walk at lunch, bought an apple juice for 27p but used shrapnel so I'm not counting it0

:T I love this idea. Im thinking what I spent money on - a swim? Hardly extravagant. Lunch? Planned as had a voucher. So to be honest they were days some might have counted as NSDs but I'm pretty strict on my rules. I've started envelopes for my yoga classes so I don't end up withdrawing money just to have the £5 needed - I take out £10 and split it ready for next week!
So many tricks to learn0
