dismantling a washing machine

Good evening. This may not be the best place to post but I didn't know where to post it. I bought a new washing machine and wanted to replace it for a new one, but it turns out that the kitchen is too narrow to get the old washing machine out (the new one is really slim line so I know it would fit in easily). Our new washing machine HAD to do a certain cycle as part of its setup. I just connected it up and tried it, this resulted in an error code and no more.
Googleing the error didn't bring up much so as a last resort I read the instructions. The setup leaflet said to connect the machine and run a certain 60 degree program

I did that and all was well
