Public keep parking in our private car park

I've been involved with a few community groups over time.
One of which had a hall, this was used by Scouts, the local W.I, a knitting club, a nursery, yoga club, karate club and so on it was also next to a popular pub/restaurant with no parking and not far from a school, plus a railway station.
When I arrived on the scene the management committee had just got rid of a PPC as they had turned to ticketing legitimate users including members of the committee.
The solution was a combination of fencing and a gate with a combination padlock on, combined with signs threatening clamping ( but with no intent to carry it out) for unauthorised users and another sign stating the Gates will be locked at 10pm monday -friday and re-opened again at 9am Monday - Friday, plus locked when the nursery is in operation for child safety reasons
After installing the gates the problem parking soon dried up, as did the ongoing issue of anti social behaviour ( ie youths drinking round the back)From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"0 -
And I will add ........ do not accept or read any PM's from members who has less than 1000 posts.
WHY, because these vermin read this forum and they may try to make you a better offer
As you can see from the posts, you have made a big mistake but we will still help you with the problems you are about to face0 -
