Broadband and landline are now sorted with Plusnet. I decided to go for their basic package, so no free evening and W/E calls. Package is subject to an 18 month contract which will cost £20/month altogether + 99p/month for caller display. This will take effect from 04/03/2017 though the woman I was speaking to on the phone informed me that I should be able to use the internet straight away as from today without any further charges, if there are any further charges she said these will be wavered. What they offered me is as follows: £2/month for unlimited broadband for 18 months then £9.99/month after that though she also informed that I might be able to negotiation a better offer than what I might be expected to pay with them by the end of the contract. For the landline it's 17.99/month. And most importantly, no activation fee has been applied as I'm and existing customer.
