Virgin media down grade to just broadband

At the moment we have the XL tv, phone and 150 broadband and we are paying £73 a month but due to a change in job we need to get this down.
Thinking due to catch up tv Netflix etc we could get rid of tv package and we have mobiles with unused minutes so phone can go to, but we do use a lot of internet with 2 teenage boys in the house, need to stay with Virgin as they are the only fibre optic supplier of broadband in our area and the speeds the others are offering would just be too slow.

Can anyone give me an idea of how much just the broadband would be? And would I have to send my TiVo box back? Thanks in advance

No out of contract, last time I spoke to them they said I had all the discounts I could have and even if I reduced say my tv package it would not reduce the price

Expect to pay anywhere between £18 - £32 for 50mb depending on how good your haggling skills are.

I'm paying £25 and was happy with that as it's comparable with what others are offering.

Yes, you'll have to take the Tivo to a collection point.
You never know they may let you keep the Tivo with basic TV as you've been paying full price.

You never know until you phone up, make sure you go through to the 'Thinking of leaving us' option.
