The details are also easily mis-entered by sellers, I've seen an advert placed by a neighbour over the phone ended up in the '55k' format instead of '55000' arrangement.

How many decent cars and savings may you have missed by excluding some of these vehicles from your search? eg - a quick search - I wouldnt discount the following because the miles were input incorrectly....

If Im searching for a car for 60k miles Im not even considering a dealer who has deliberatly typed 120k as 120 so it slips through

To me this is a deliberate attempt to scam people who might not notice and I wonder what other scams they do

A genuine mistake and an attempt to deceive is very different
