How to get compensation from Jet Airways (India) for a delay?

I travelled with Jet Airways from Mumbai to London Heathrow.

We boarded as normal, near enough the expected time. After one hour we were told that there was a delay due to a tech problem and they were trying to fix it. Later they said they couldn't fix the problem and that they were waiting for another plane to be available. After about four hours all the passengers, luggage, catering etc were bussed to another plane. We eventually took off.

My delay in arriving in London was 4 hours 5 minutes.

Can I claim compensation from Jet for the delay?
If so, how would I do it?
Are there any rules for calculating any compensation due.

Bear in mind that Jet is a non EU airline.

Any help would be appreciated.
