You have been given so much advice by a lot of people. I agree with Alice and BSPM you are making gobbledegook out of everything. I/m not sure how anyone can possibly help you further, try your local CAB.

It's not gobbledegook - What part of this is gobbledegook? It seems to me like my question is written in very simple English. If you really think something is gobbledegook then why have you or somebody that thinks it's gobbledegook, kept replying as if you understand what I wrote. If a question makes no sense to you because you don't understand it or because you think it doesn't make sense, then it's better that you say so and where it doesn't make sense to you, than answering something with a pretence that you understand it, or changing it into something you understand but was not asked.

The question seems very simple to me, is written in plain english and is not gobblegook. I've made some effort to make it simple for you or others to understand. If you think it's gobbledegook i'd appreciate it if you quoted exactly what part of this is gobbledegook to you.

"Ultimately with my DLA claim the DWP didn't want to go to a tribunal.. Whereas the admin at the solicitors I spoke to said that nowadays it's unusual for them not to. If it were the case as some here have suggested, that it's the same situation, then the admin at the solicitors would've said then and now makes no difference, but they did not."

Note- Also there is no need to continuously repeat to me that the reconsideration wasn't mandatory before but is now. I'm well aware of that , as I have read the replies. And there's no need to repeat to me again and again that it goes direct to the tribunal now but didn't then. I'm well aware of that.

It's apparent from the previous posts the OP has made, he has issues.
He appears to be a detail oriented person and will over focus or obsess on the minor points.

It might be wise just to answer the initial question if you can and then allow the thread to drop off the first page. :)

Having passed a few hours (whilst waiting to sleep) reading this thread I can only say that every question asked has been answered, it is then met with either another question or the poster stating we don't understand the question asked.

Exasperating to say the least and best ignored as far as I am concerned.

That's a very good idea if you really intend discussion to keep repeating itself or going round in a circle..(which I don't). You're basically saying ignore any recent posts and just keep answering the question in the first post over and over again.. It's almost as if you've actually noticed that that is what some people are doing and you're having a laugh about it and are trying to encourage people to waste their time doing that. So you're telling them to ignore any recent posts that i've made, anything current in the discussion in this thread, and just keep replying to old posts. If you were pranking people that's what i'd expect you to say. It's amazing that somebody thanked you for giving that advice. Have you ever done that in discussion with peopl in real life? Listen to the first thing they say, then just keep addressing it over and over again and each time they reply to you you reply as if they had just repeated the first thing they said. The funny thing is that's what some people have done even before you suggested it.
