So if you cannot link to those posts on MSE complaining about cold calls related to the sale of hotel rooms which you say exist it must be that those posts don't exist and your post is not true.

Your link on the fca website is about cold calls in general and not specifically related to the sale of hotel rooms which is the subject of this thread.

Why are you so obsessed with stating these aren't scams, one way of proving that is for you to invest your own money and then report back in a year or two and relate on your experiences.

I'm not obsessed with it, I just want to see the evidence that the sale of hotel rooms are scams. Even so, if it's valid that when a scam is found within a particular sector we apply that to the whole sector none of us would have bank accounts.

No not hotel rooms because I'm already doing it with static caravans. But I might be tempted with the latest buy-to-let craze, rooms in care homes

Cheap thanks. Personal amusement. The satisfaction of knowing that someone is less likely to lose their life savings in an investment scam if everyone tells them not to do it, apart from one person who thinks pettifogging is a substitute for reason.

Now now, let's not be too hasty. This is a man who owns two caravans and we know from another thread that he has at least £30 sometimes as much as £40 per month to invest through his investing app. Who amongst us does not aspire to that level of success...

It doesn't matter whether the cold calls are about investment in storage pods, parking spaces, carbon credits or hotel rooms, the advice is the same - genuine investment companies do not cold call. There may be a very, very small section of the population that these investments are suitable for. It's not the person who comes here asking about them and if they are genuine and I can't understand why you are trying to legitimise such schemes.
