  • It was a 2 year deal that was offered March 2016 so I have one more year to increase funds. Sorry.

Keeping my fingers crossed something new my turn up in the next month. I did consider the ATOM bank account which I believe pays 2% over a year.

Just opened a second HBOS. Caught me on the hop, it was instantaneous. You get 4 of those, two for yourself, two for the wife and you have a 3% return on £20,000 which kicks the ISA out of the ground.

No, you are wrong. You receive 5% on the entire amount in your account for the time it is there. The interest rate is 5% and does not diminish regardless of what you are trying to claim. Please don't tell people incorrect information.[/

Of course. However, if I could put in my £6000 in one go I would be delighted to receive 5% on the total. As the sum is put in monthly and matures in a year, the interest collected us obviously less.

Are you saying that you keep £2500 in the FlexPlus rather than in the Flexclusive Regular Saver because it earns a better rate in the FlexPlus?

Good lord, no. I put £500 in the regular saver, too.
