Guy at work had a Cee'd as a company car, at 3 years old with 90K on the clock the drivers seat was absolutely knackered and falling to pieces - he was told that the damage was not "normal wear and tear" and would have to be repaired at my colleagues expense. He was also told that "no manufacturer makes a seat that would withstand the abuse he had given it".
Anyway, long story short - he showed them his old company car which he bought from the lease company at 5 years old with 250K on the clock - 10 years later it has almost 500K on the clock and one of the seat seams is just beginning to split.
The current lease company decided to ignore the damage to the Cee'd as "a gesture of goodwill".
