Sky MSE only £12 a month offer - affected by price hikes?

I signed up for the £12 a month offer a month ago through MSE and I could swear on the offer page it said 'sky has told us new customers for this offer won't be affected by price rises'. Is this just my imagination?

Sky have instructed me via both their phone service and chat service that the MSE Sky January offered we signed up to is fixed for 12 months - my forward projection cost details also confirmed this, namely, I'm paying £20 a month in total for BB and unlimited phone calls, which was the cheapest option when i signed up in early January.

You are right, it did say that.
