Orange Prepay (EE) Price Increase from 30th March 2017
Options
Many charges going up across Orange prepay plans, call/text etc.
If you wish to stay put, and are still on the default "Starter" tariff your better off moving onto another; for lower pay and go rates use/see Racoon 2 for general cross-net mobile calling (low usage) otherwise continue with Talk and Save or Choose your own off-peak for mostly Orange to Orange and to landlines particularly longer calls*
However there are now much cheaper tariffs/networks on the market for standard prepay rates, having said that there maybe those who continue to enjoy the small perks that these plans offer and/or with add-ons/rewards.

*Please note that calling numbers connected/moved to EE direct (even T-Mobile) may be classed as calling another network from Orange Prepay, even if originally an Orange number, with higher charges on some plans, please check beforehand.
The last increase was on 1st September 2016 for some plans or in part.

Missing from the list of changes...
- Access Charge for calls to 084, 087, 09 and 118 numbers
- calls to personal numbers starting 070
- cost of 'one standard rate message to a mobile shortcode'
and other items.
Presumably they aren't changing or you cannot call or text those numbers at all?0 -
