Bensons for Beds - Missing parts...twice!

So my partner and I bought a bed from B4B, and on the first delivery, they were missing 2 of the boxes on the van. We accepted delivery with the note on the delivery sheet that the boxes were missing and a photographed copy of the sheet taken. I phoned customer services (and spent 93 minutes on hold) and was offered the delivery of parts for the next day. I obviously accepted this taking another day off work to do so.

The day comes and no delivery of parts, so I am sat here with half a bunk bed, no slats and no end pieces :| So I phoned customer services (this time 22 minutes on hold) and was told that I should never have been told it would be next day, and that she would put the reclamation form through for the parts needed for the bed, but it would take between 2-5 working days for the acknowledgement from the warehouse that this needs to be done, and that we would need to wait anywhere up to a further 4 weeks for the delivery (we would be told the day before the delivery comes).

Today is the day and we have another box, and are now missing the slats for the bed. So cue another phone call to B4B customer services - this time 37 minutes on hold to get through and be told again, 2-5 day wait and a up to further 4 weeks delivery.

My questions are as follows:

1- Can I make a claim for compensation as they've failed to deliver the full consignment of parts required - TWICE

2- Can I make a claim for the phone calls made, along with the days off work that I had to take (unpaid as I am beyond my allocation of paid days from work)?

3- Can I make a claim for the fact that they've seriously upset my kids (and myself as the stress from the whole debarkle has been agitating to say the least)?

4- What would be the best route to take for this?

    2- yes.

    3- forget it.

4- your best route is to read MSE's Failed Delivery article.

Won't somebody think of the children! :D

No. You cannot claim compensation for "stress".

Well I got through to someone who was understanding. What I asked for

Compensation for 2 days off work taken for deliveries which fail
Compensation for all the phone calls made to get this sorted
Compensation for the delivery cost being refunded
Compensation for the bed cost as we were paying for it, but not having it.

    What they're paying out for

1 day off work at full rate
    All phone call costs
    Delivery cost refund
    10% off the bed cost

Bed cost was £800 all in
Refund cost was £165 (for the day off) + £7 for the phone costs + £76 for the delivery costs + £80 for the 10% off = £328

We're going to be putting that money towards a bulk payment for the bed as we got it on the monthly payment plan, and reduce out payments by 5 months :) (we chose 12 months to pay it off).
