Standard DRP job, masquerading as G's Solicitors. Letterheads pimped out by G's - they all want to be at the money trough.

It never ceases to amaze me that Gladstones allow these fakes.
It just adds even more stupidity to this already stupid solicitor.

Would never be surprised if they offer fake passports as well

Following in the trailblazing footsteps of Graham White Solicitors, their architect-in-chief Michael Sobell and DCA Roxburghe (defunct, but now pheonixed as ZZPS).

But it's a ruse that works, as for every one we rumble, another (maybe) 50 or more pay up, scared sh*tless by a sol's letterhead.

If the whole DPA claim proves true, I wonder what companies will be phoning you up asking "have you had a Private Parking Ticket in the last six years and if so you could be entitled to £250 compensation (minus our fees)" ...

    Now that could happen:)

Most likely be run by Gladstones, they screw their IPC members in court anyway so screwing them for DPA would be right up their street

I've always said that eventually (and for whatever reason) the private parking industry will face a PPI-style backlash. Unfortunately, unlike the banks, if any PPC is faced with potentially high costs, they will just fold, phoenix a few days later and enter a new phase of 'Carry On Sc amming'. It's a well rehearsed scenario.

Given the circumstances, I would suggest that you give them a list of all the sub-contractors who may have been responsible. Alternatively, you can refer them to Arkell v Pressdram.

never going to happen i dont grass anyone.

Yep, I will bet that before this you got 3-4 letters from Debt Recovery Plus, the final one would have given you a final offer to settle at about £25 less, which you ignored and now you get this one which is as Umkomaas says basically the same just on a different letter head.

The one you are looking out for is the one that comes from Gladstones and says "Letter Before Claim" or "Letter before Action" in big letters at the top. When you get that you need to start preparing a defence and you come back here to get help

If this is as you say a situation from 2012/2013 then they have till 2018/2019 to do this (6 year limit).

yes i have found that out by reading the threads on here 6 years who gave them that power to do that its just not right.
