Gladstone letter

Hello to all on here, i have received this letter from gladstones for some reason i cant seem to copy and paste to this thread,

not sure what to do as it is inviting me to pay an outstanding charge
of £150 or they may start legal proceedings on behalf of their client DRP. not sure whether to ignore it or responed to the letter as this charge is from 2012/13 can they go back that far to claim.

I used to let subbies who worked for me take the vehicle home as at the time their car was off the road they used to rent a flat in town and one morning told me about this PCN that was on the van but said not to worry as all the residents ignored these tickets, i did google at the time and advice was to not worry and dont pay
i did get a stream of letters from DRP and zenith which i binned and forgot about until this letter from gladstones dropped onto the matt.
so now i need some advice as to what to do next do i sit and wait and see or write back telling them i wont be paying cant believe whats happening really.

all advice/info appreciated wish i could put the letter up as some of you would know what i should do.

thanks for reading,markla.

you cannot copy and paste pictures on here, use a hosting site like tinypic and host them there

it will probably be from DRP with a gladstones letterhead, we get the same threads on here daily, so have a look at the others over the last week and take the same advice

the forum search box will help you to find them

plus the NEWBIES sticky thread has a section on DCA letters

this letter is therefore NOT from GLADSTONES , despite what you think

if you ever get a REAL letter from GLADSTONES , then come back for advice

good morning to you all i have spent a few hours reading the newbie thread (thats me) which redX suggested i do much respect to you my freind.

i have managed to upload a copy of the gladrags letter minus my details much love and respect to my daughter for doing this as i,m not pc literate am learning tho, seems i cant post a link either any one got any clue as to how i can sort this.

i,ve also been reading a lot of other threads and what a real eye opener i just cant believe what i,m reading and the amounts these scammers are trying to get out of people.its not right and makes me wonder how much they do get out of law abiding folk who pay up straight away when they get these threatening letters.

I also need to say a big thankyou to all the MSE users on hear who are only to happy to offer advice and help people who get conned by these PPC even the DVLA should be bought to book for making money out of this and giving away our personal details its just not right how are they allowed to get away with it.

as i,m typing this there is a piece on the news about a carpark in wycombe using ANPR and the DVLA anyone with a car/van is seen as money spinner i really got to watch my step as i seem to be living in an age of scammers looking to fleece me any way they can.

put the link in your reply , change the http to hxxp at the beginning of the link , then hit SUBMIT in order to reply

the forum will accept the dead link because you have altered it , its that simple

IGNORE drp or zenith letters even if they have a gladstones letterhead, they are not actually from gladstones

The entire sc am from top to bottom summed up in three short paragraphs. Exactly that.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Given the circumstances, I would suggest that you give them a list of all the sub-contractors who may have been responsible. Alternatively, you can refer them to Arkell v Pressdram.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Standard DRP job, masquerading as G's Solicitors. Letterheads pimped out by G's - they all want to be at the money trough.

Yep, I will bet that before this you got 3-4 letters from Debt Recovery Plus, the final one would have given you a final offer to settle at about £25 less, which you ignored and now you get this one which is as Umkomaas says basically the same just on a different letter head.

The one you are looking out for is the one that comes from Gladstones and says "Letter Before Claim" or "Letter before Action" in big letters at the top. When you get that you need to start preparing a defence and you come back here to get help

If this is as you say a situation from 2012/2013 then they have till 2018/2019 to do this (6 year limit).
