Kia Picanto - MOT & Servicing

I'm thinking of trying Phoenix for my next MOT.
I know some are saying that I don't need to go to a KIA approved garage for the MOT, but is it worth me risking the warranty or having to pay for a re-test should it need new parts?0 -
If it fails and covered under warranty they will replace it there and then, take elsewhere and you will have to book it into Kia for them to inspect and see if its covered under warranty and if not pay the diagnosis fee, easier to go to Kia imo
If it does fail and you have had mot at Kia and part not under warranty take it elsewhere to get fixed it doesn't have to be done at Kia0
