Five major airlines 'wrongly denied' flight delay payouts to passengers

The UK aviation regulator is taking enforcement action against five major airlines it says have been failing to pay the legally required compensation for flight delays resulting from missed connections. It estimates that overall 100,000s of passengers may be due up to £500 each for this kind of delay - here's how to claim if you're affected....

Why hasn't the government stopped the airlines wasting the small claims court time and continually acting unreasonably?
There's a very long way to go.

The CAA doesn't seem willing to do anything about it though.
