3 year guarantee on a pump

I bought a pump for our washing machine in the cellar (pumps water above ground level) in October 2015. It has a 3 year guarantee. (states guarantee not a warranty of that makes a difference?)
In the packaging that came with it, there is no guarantee terms and conditions.
I returned the faulty pump in January and last week we contacted the company about the item. They instantly said that they had emailed us and the pump is covered by the guarantee. We asked for the email to be sent again as we hadn't received it. We keep calling and it is just an answer machine.
Where to go from here?

Have you checked your junk email folder?
What is your actual concern, is it being fixed or not?0 -
Nothing in junk.
They are saying it is not covered by guaranteeLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -
Does the manufacturer have a website and does it include any guarantee information? Did you buy it from the manufacturer, and if not are you also looking at your CRA rights with the seller0

Arggh
Reading the other thread and hearing the name saniflo always reminds me of this:
http://www.diyfaq.org.uk/humour.html#sanifloThey have an interesting design. The motor has poor starting torque and the macerator lots of tiny teeth. Ergo anything that has strands in it catches on the teeth and stops the motor from starting. Things with strands include anything with cotton wool (including cotton wool buds) and anything with cloth. Females in particular must not be allowed anywhere near these devices. If you were unfortunate enough to have the added misery of a sink (oh dear - you were warned) then add hair, strands from woolly pullovers and almost anything else that's at all fibrous.0 -

Apologies, they have said it is not covered. However until they are willing to email us again what the fault is, we can't do much more.
With regards to previous pist- pump was fine after small amount if washing powder was cleared from a pipe the thickness of a straw. I will post a screenshot later of advert.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

A new one on the exact same subject is generally regarded as suspicious (which is why another poster linked to the original).0 -
