Dublin. Short Break, accomodation advice please

Hi, im planning on taking a cheap ryanair flight to dublin next month and staying for a few days.

Im looking for accomodation (B+B or cheap hotel) for 2 adults.

Anyone have any recomendations of a good b+b or reasonably priced hotel that is fairly central ?

But it is a good recommendation.

I'm going to Dublin next week and still have'nt booked a hotel.

If you do a search in the travel board for 'dublin hotels'you do get a fair few threads with recommendations - they are all fairly recent too.
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

  • hi, weve stayed in dubl;in dozens of times, i can really reccomend the arlington hotel, i always found it reasonable and very safe so that we werent having to travel far late at night on foot or dart/luas. overlooks o connell bridge only feet away from fantastic, shops, train stations, pubs and restaurants.

they do a bufffet lunch which is excellent value for money and its all medieval so something differnt to look out, the atmosphere on football/hurling/rugby days is amazing, a really great place and ideal for couples or families
  • oh i can also reccomend any of the comfort hotels, sometimes a little further out but really excellent for value, and comfort, i cannot happily recceomend blooms hotel, i found it expensivew, grotty and really bad attitudes from the staff, also you only pay for your room, which to me always seems like a rip off

In May I stayed at Jurys Inn Parnell St, and it was great for families. I booked with them via topcashback.
A week before I was due to go, they reduced their prices for late bookings. I cancelled, and rebooked at the cheaper amount.
Topcashback paid out for both bookings.
Tripadvisor has loads of hotel reviews.
    Have a brilliant time.

Hi, we've stayed in the Royal Dublin Hotel twice, it was just over £50 for the room with B&B for two people very reasonable. It was a nice hotel, clean and modern and I liked the fact it was at the top of the main street so there were no noise problems from outside as it was far enough away that people had dispersed by the time they reached it. I can't fault it actually, very good. I got the booking both times of cheap search websites as they were cheaper than going direct.

hope this helps, have a great time its a great city.
