  • Yeah I second the Royal Dublin Best Western its great, stayed there at the begining of the month and couldn't fault it.
It's on Upper O'Connel Street which is central for everything and the place to be! I have also stayed at the Greshem on Upper O'Connel street but this is only if you want to splash out (more like £120 pr pn!) but that was fantastic.
  • Ive been to Dublin loads of times - its a great place - although the prices have gone up in central areas since the Euro came in force!

I have stayed in Blooms (cheap but clean - right on Temple Bar) several of the Jurys Inns, The Paramount and The Parliment, but the best stay was at The Arlington on the River Liffey and opposite Temple Bar. We had a nice room and booked it direct and got a money saving deal.

We had a three nights stay with fully cooked Irish breakfast and one nights evening meal in the restaurant - cant remember how much it was but I did do loads of shopping round before booking so it must have been great value!!
