in addition to the last post by pogofish , you have to realise that Excel (and VCS their sister company) have been storing these INVOICES for several years on their systems, then passed a lot of them to B W LEGAL to harass the people involved

this has also led to a tsunami of MCOL,s being issued for places like the Peel Centre and Chorlton precinct and the Wakefield Calder Park (I think its that place) plus many others like the infamous one down Birmingham way with the incorrect signage (they mix the 2 companies up a lot)

so yes Excel can and do issue court claims, sometimes themselves , but many through the incompetent B W LEGAL , plenty of blogs and threads on here and over on pepipoo forums about all the above to keep you going all week !! ;)

ESPECIALLY read the LAMILAD threads on both forums , plus pranksters blog

and here is a current EXCEL court case on page 1 of this forum where the OP keeps being directed BACK to the NEWBIES sticky thread for answers, plus told to do more research like the lamilad case too (even by lamilad who was in court recently and beat Excel)

and a current VCS case (sister company to excel)

    Don`t do IAS !!

there are one or two dissenters to the "dont bother" option ,

I resent being accused of dissent Red. I based my advice on a lifetime of advising people how to get out of far more serious situations than a mere parking ticket.

I was very well paid for it and Her Majesty was so "well pleased" with my performance, that she referred to me as "trusty and beloved" in Her Commission which she graciously granted to me.

That I may be in the minority in this instance does not bother me one bit. I am satisfied that those who dissent from my view are wrong.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

  • Yes I understand that IAS seems to be a complete waste of time and nothing more than a shame. The last case I fought was through POPLA I found them OK to deal with and got a result but with this PPC being associated to IPC that means I can't use POPLA this time. If I thought I had expert knowlowedge then I would be on here advising others, but winning one case through POPLA don't make me and expert and I'de hate to give out the wrong advice. As my initial online appeal (or shall we say waste of time) to the PPC was of course denied, they have pics of my vehicle parked across the line bay and that seems to be that. I don't even really dispute that It was a mistake but there you go, I'm just concerned about the extortionate charges these cowboys get away with. Looks like my only real options are to pay or wait and see if it's goes to court now is that correct? In the meantime yes of course I'm doing as much as I can on social media, #challengethefine etc, and have contacted my local MP. I appreciate all the help and understand how much effort you guys put into fighting these absolute conmen.
