I'm running Windows 10 desktop PC, when I switched on today I noticed all the fonts and desktop icons were 'huge' also I subscribe to 'Avast' and this appears to be disabled? I have not accessed any 'dodgy' web sites (as far as I know)
I'm very worried, any advice appreciated.

First run malwarebytes

And then ADW cleaner

Sounds like you need to adjust the resolution if its the icons that are big too ..
Type display into the search box and then click on display settings.
scroll down and click on "advanced display settings"
Change the resolution to one you are happy with or the "(recommended)" one
Out of interest, did malwarebytes find any nasties ?0 -
As above, right click on the desktop, select Screen Resolution and then check what your monitor is set to ... it sounds like it might have reset to a lower resolution for some reason. (Sometimes can happen if an update hasn't properly applied).0

I couldn't remember - I'm at work on my W7 machine.
Thanks for reminding me.0 -
[Not surprisingly Microsoft recommends its own mechanism! :rotfl:]0
