I go to a Conservative club (I'm not a member). It's a got a pleasant clientele of older people and it's fairly run down so doesn't draw a younger crowd. It has a bar and it's cheap. To the left are two houses and to their left, a big car park.

I do sometimes wonder what it'd be like to live in those houses. Probably ok but I wouldn't want to live there because it'd be tough to sell it again.

It depends on the pub and the location but in general, if it's not a village pub then not for me.

Personally I'd be more worried about the car parks than the pub, the pub is far enough away for it to not bother you. I once lived in a terrace with a pub two doors down and it was never a problem, a bit of noise if they had an event on but that wasn't too often it was just a village local. I had no front garden to protect me from the noise, both my door and the pub door opened directly onto the street. Maybe once every few months there'd be noise from a bunch of drunks in the street but they could just as easily have got out of a taxi or minibus from being out in town and it was never anything too bad.

The car park however is more likely to attract groups of teenagers with nowhere else to go and they are more likely to cause damage and be loud and noisy.
