    Good morning everyone.

Thin blue'ish watery skies outside. No idea what's coming with the weather.

Yesterday I managed to declutter a load of unnecessary cabling from behind the TV though there's still a strangely large number still there. It's almost bafflingly.

    TV power
    Sound box cable
    DVD cable
    Freesat box cable
    Freeview box cable
    Lamp cable
    One speaker cable
One network box with five network cables
    One wifi extender.

Scary! Anyway, most cables now sporting a bright yellow label at the plug end with a name on. And everything has been dusted, well it was with a damp cloth, tied up with a bungee cable and put back in the corner.

My friend also measured the length of drop st my front door for a heavy duty curtain which his wife will make for me. She has a beautiful piece of material in her craft studio which we wanted to use which is 85 inches long. Turns out my drop is almost 120 inches (3 metres). His wife came down to check the measurement as she didn't believe it! I've decided to have a 'topper' row rather than choose a different material.

I've got a delivery of meat arriving today from a farm in Inverurie, all frozen, which will go straight in the freezer.

More pictures to come off the walls downstairs and more stuff to put in bags and taken upstairs. More verifications to do, only managed one small set yesterday.

    Ooh, too much waffle! Onwards.

I hope everyone has a happy Tuesday.

Good morning everyone, fine and reasonably bright here, not seen the weather forecast.

My session at the gym with the PT this morning, need a tiny bit of breakfast now, but can't eat much beforehand. I just do resistance stuff to try and stop all my muscle tone disappearing completely, it is a case of no pain no gain, but have to keep going otherwise I might end up being mostly housebound. OH out with dear dog, just road walks for a while as she keeps straining a back leg whilst running for the ball. I do love to hear all the news of your dogs and cats.

OH is off cycling early, need to visit bank for yearly review this afternoon, doubt I will get much done other than these things, note to self look at meal plan - Oh yes pack of mince to be made into something tasty. Still not done any baking, have to get on with it soon, running out of GF goodies:(

Good wishes to all poorly, worried etc., here's hoping that you have a good day.

    Good morning,

Karcher thank you for the thread.

Hugs to all who need them and well wishes to the poorlies.

I have slept well and now waiting for a carpenter and general builder to come and have a look at our door and windows, need new locks and the windows need un-sticking. We have tried everything but nothing worked. DS painted them and then closed them too soon!

Other than that, loose day, nothing on the agenda, probably go for a gentle walk. I am aching so much, I cannot go very far at the moment, nit I want to go to the gym.

Got a couple of free cinema tickets to see Patriots Day but thinking of cancelling because I am worried it will be too sad and violent. Not the right thing to watch when mood is so low.

DH is on sleep duty at the night shelter tonight, it's got to be done but I hate it when I have to sleep alone in the house. I could never sleep in the church, I get up a million times for bathroom, water, then groan when I turn around because of the hip aches and pains, I would disturb everybody.

Instead I do the breakfast shifts almost every week, which is a very early shift and hard to fill. But I live just across the road so no hardship at all.

    Have a good day.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    Morning everyone

Lovely day here today the temperatures are so good for this time of year :) Working at home for a few hours this morning then out for lunch with my 7 year old twin god kids for half term. Very pleased as this means no requirement to stick my head in the freezer for dinner tonight. I am on the mission to empty my freezer or at least bring it right down but boy its a long job. Often something will last 2 or 3 times or creates more stuff to go back in the freezer. I have 2 fairly large freezers one in the garage and one under the fridge in the kitchen sounds a lot for a single person but I reckon singles need freezers even more than families.

Anyway I dont have to think about that today so its off to the local carvery for my 5 a day veg (its the only time I manage to get to 5 lol so I need to fill my boots) Of course my friend and I will no doubt be adding to the 5 a day with a cheeky glass of wine too (grapes dont you know :D)

Tru Scampi sounds just gorgeous and on the way to being very well trained. What sort of dog is he?

Karcher you must be shattered theres only one 4 in my day take it easy nothing wrong with couch time :)

HH Dare I ask this ...what is L&M ....it sounds like it should be something naughty but Im thinking its your husband:rotfl:

    Have a lovely day everyone

Morning everyone, thanks for the start Karcher.

Cloudy, overcast and drizzly this morning, but mild so no heating on.

Had a relatively productive day yesterday, used my Mr Sparks voucher and re-stocked my undies drawer with three new bras and 3 pairs of pants, also picked up a t-shirt as they are cheap in there and keep their shape well.
Need to do bathrooms today, will hook up the steam cleaner and have a good go at the tiles as it does a good job but just a faff getting it upstairs.
Gers That is an impressive haul of technology :rotfl:
TRU The girls lurve schmakos too and will behave impeccably if ones being offered as bribery.

Thinking of Lamewolf hope all went well m'dear, hugs to any others in need.

Have a good day everyone, take care folks x
