  • I guess you tried calling cingular and last about 3hrs. for someone to tell you, you have to have service with them to unlock it!

    No not at all. The reason being that this is a UK consumer site and we don't have Cingular in the UK. So why you are asking about unlocking your US Cingular phone here, and being based in Tx, I'm not too sure!

  • I did a google search and this site came up on several other phones to unlock and the reviews were excellent so I decide to try why not?

    We'll let the guys who do it decide whether or not they want to... I think your request goes against the spirit of this forum, but they may feel otherwise.

    it's a UK forum, we don't know the settings for USA phones...hence the "sticky" at the top of this section that says "unlock codes for UK "
