Where does the extra owner come into it?

66,000 miles for a 2013 diesel is a bit high, if it's an early 2013 that is about 28K a year...
    Good luck.

Surely an early 2013 car with 66000 miles is a yearly average of 16500 miles per year (approx 320 miles per week) - almost below average for a diesel if anything?

    2013 to 2017 is, by my reckoning, 4 years - 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016.

If the previous owners are evenly 'spaced' (especially if the first registration was a dealership) I wouldn't be unduly concerned - though if it was 3 owners in a short space of time I might suspect a 'lemon'.

Have you checked the MOT history online?

From my limited experience of Vauxhalls the Network Q aspect allied to it being sold by a Vauxhall dealer would ease most of any concerns I might have had.

Four previous owners (as per the V5C).
One current owner - number 5 - the seller.
The OP will be the sixth owner if he/she goes ahead with the purchase.

Your maths is a bit out.

66,000 miles over 4 years is 16,500 per year.
  • 5 people have owned that car and wanted to get rid of it in less than 12 monts (on average)

    What does that tell you?
  • To be fair, maybe you just happen to be looking at an Insignificant that's been owned by five people who all just came to their senses quite quickly, and realised driving it made them feel dead inside.

You've seen the V5C in the previous keeper's name, and it says "Number of previous keepers:"... 3 or 4?

If 3, then the current keeper is number 4, and you will be number 5.
If 4, then the current keeper is number 5, and you will be number 6.

If you buy a new car, it has zero previous keepers.

The V5C says who the current keeper is, when it was registered in their name, and who the previous keeper is and when it was registered in their name. What are the dates for those?

    It's this one, I presume?
