I got some lovely outfits for weddings from an online site called justlastseason . I had to keep checking the site because although it is already reduced from the original price they very often have sales which can mean items that were originally £99 or more can go as low as £39 or even less.

Have a pedometer round my neck to remind to move about, albeit slowly and had cereal for breakfast and loaded the dishwasher. Family are coming tomorrow for lunch so have chicken and low fat mince defrosting.

I will take a short and slow walk to the shop later for veg, fish and potatoes .

    Hugs to all

    Afternoon all,

Been us for ages and got three loads of washing blowing on the line, its a beautiful day here sun is shining with a good breeze.

We have a chap here cutting the back hedge its got out of control nd I wanted it done before the birds start nesting, the difference to the light in the house is amazing, we will clean the conservatory roof tomorrow and it should let a load more light in.

DD has a visitor coming today, a new young man she has met, lets hope this one is better than the previous ones, they have all been nice lads but not gentlemen iykwim ? two of them have dumped her over text which I hate
she has forbidden me from embarrassing her :rotfl: I don't know what she means !!

Thanks to Lainey and Tired mum for the good wishes yesterday, got the all clear from the breast clinic, its nothing nasty but both breasts are full of dozens of cysts, she said each time I feel another one to go back, but at least its nothing nasty.

DD and chap are going out to eat tonight so OH and I may treat ourselves to a takeaway :D a glass of wine may be taken too !

Got to hoover my car out in a while, a friend from work is coming to see it as her husband might be interested, I get my new one in 10 days :j

Have good days all and enjoy the sunshine xx

Redruby good news that it's "only" cysts, iyswim. :o

The saga of my meds continues - the GP agreed to up my morphine last Tuesday; I am still without a script I can actually get filled and start taking. If it wasn't for the pain I'm in, it'd be laughable.

I'd dearly like to skip next week completely; I have the dreaded ECG on Monday, and a hearing test with the audiologist on Tuesday. I wish to do neither one, but I don't have a choice.

I need a dog to cuddle!

That's terrible LW. What is the problem? It's not right you're in pain.

Little Evie sends a cuddle, she is very muddy as she has just been out for a walk but she thought you wouldn't mind :D
  • Afternoon all, with half an alleluia from me! I have at last got some silk poppies and a tall white vase, reduced to half price, from Dunelm! Sadly no picture though! We have a lovely, but expensive. home store which I have been leaving as a last resort, so I might try there next! Well it doesn't cost anything to look does it?

That's brilliant news REDRUBY, you must be so relieved. And good luck with DD's visitor!

Enjoy what's left of the day folks x

Haven't got a dog to send you woofy cuddles so a virtual non-touching human hug is whizzing your way LW. Please don't wish your life away, it'll happen all too soon!

I got home OK, slow again because of traffic, no idea why. The weather is mild but heavy drizzle and some mist. When I got home a horrible smell hit me in the utility room, I thought a mouse had got in and died somewhere. After much searching and sniffing I found the culprit - a cauliflower going off. Mad as hell at the waste and the smell. It's now on the compost heap.

After 19 days I've given in... and am having a glass of wine right now. It surely must be after 6p.m. somewhere in the world. Anyway, think I deserve it and if I had resisted I'd be fighting it all evening and tomorrow too, so, it's done. Wine is going to be drunk tonight. Actually, after the first mouthful I was satisfied and don't really want any more.:rotfl:

Woodburner is on. Post opened and overnight bag unpacked. Hope all's well with everyone.

I have been lurking and reading for about a month now and wondering if I could pop my head around the door, anyhoo on reading LW's need for doggy cuddles I have volunteered Miss MM (the one in the avatar) to send you some rather hairy cuddles and a small but very gently lick on the nose - these are only normally available to her human master and absolute hero my OH! I might get one or two a year if I am very lucky:D

ETA - sorry that seems to have come out rather large.
