These have taken a lot of work and arent the sort of cars to be found in mc donalds car park.
The other side is like Tom has mentioned above to improve on what you already have eg better brakes, better shocks / handeling setup many things can be done to a car with out changing the exterior but make for a much better / safer / faster ride.
Really it comes down to the great option of freedom we have in this country where we are welcome to do anything that isnt illegal, if we choose to do it or not is our choice. It may not be to your liking but many people enjoy car modding as a hobby. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

Sorry lads, but there is a large body of opinion out there which simply does not understand the drive to individualise. They will never be convinced. We can only hope that they never reach a position of influence, otherwise we will all drive small black boxes, devoid of all personality. The biggest comort we have is the fact that they are a lot sadder than we are, even if they don't realise it. Every car that I have ever owned, and that's a lot, has had a few little touches. It's been a harmless, relatively cheap, hobby, and although, with my advanced years I might cringe at what some people do to their cars, I would defend their right to do it, and admire them for taking the trouble.0

My cars are modified..tbh I'd sooner have something a little bit different to anybody else's. Surely it's just a way of showing some individuality? There is a real difference between a car enthusiast and a 'barry boy'.0

My point is one Citroen Saxo with a stock body kit and lexus lights is no different to the thousands of others on the road. I rarely see individual unique cars on the road that have been modified with something other than the same lights and body kits that everyone else uses.
Either way I think the OP is reffering more to the hoards of loosers on the road in Saxo's with stock body kits, Lexus lights and 6x9"'s in the parcel shelf with a crap sounding stereo who think they're the coolest people on earth driving like complete idiots - and not people who seriously take up car modifying rather than buying stock parts from Halfords.0
