Just get the voucher, change it for money out of your pocket.
Spend the vouchers on food etc . Put the cash where ever you would have put the refund.
Job done.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Im with the OP on this one ..
The only reason they dont have a receipt is because Asda didnt give it them back like they should have done.
I dont think you will have a problem if you physically go to the store OP, common sense should prevail here and its easy to get fobbed off over email0 -
But it was for a business item so will have to be accountable. The refund would cancel out the purchase in my books. And no, I wouldn't have a second one as they have just stopped selling it and even if they were It would break again as the plastic was weak.
Take the money you would normally spend on your FOOD and put it into your business. Then use ASDA gift vouchers to buy the FOOD which you were planning on purchasing.
Couldn't be any easier!!!0 -
I'm not sure about the gift voucher / cash alternative legality ; but Asda sell many things that most people need, so they are practically identical. I think they even sell gift vouchers for other stores.
To overcome the "business" problem : make a note in your records, that you bought the item, then sold it to yourself ; as you can with any surplus stock.0 -
