    Hi
Can any of you lovely ladies tell me what to do with 'round steak'?
I ordered some with my Tesco shop...expecting what was in the picture...2 small round steaks I intended to slice thinly for a stir fry.
Instead I got this big lump of meat 4 times bigger than what I ordered. Wondering if it will be ok in the slow cooker as a casserole? Or should I slice it into thin slices?
I did get the difference in price refunded so that's ok.
Yes you can - it's just a cut of "topside" makes a great casserole or you could beat it out and stuff like a big beef olive. I get it all the time and pop "thin slices please" in my order notes as I usually get it to make beef olives:)

I would use it as a slow cooked casserole so as to take no chances.

Quiet day as dd came and stayed overnight, made her breakfast and made sure her yellow fever vaccine has not badly affected her and that she was all right to drive to work.

Youngest has a job interview next week so keeping everything crossed.

Seems dds and SIL are coming round for Sunday lunch so will have a rummage around the freezer tomorrow and might have to drag myself to local shop for some veg and potatoes.

Thank heavens for internet shopping and a well stocked cupboard and freezer.

    Hugs to all
