New phone around £150 with up to date features.

Options
Hi Folks,

On the lookout for a new phone max £150 or thereabouts.
Would like it to have transfer files to pc easily, maybe over wi-fi Bluetooth as I am a bit fed up running the Samsung kies on my old galaxy ace, and it don't work anymore.

Would like phone to be maybe VR as well for virtual reality apps.

I have heard good thing about the Motorola g4 which is around that price, but any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
:)

  • The G4 is a good phone but if your going to buy one hang on because I believe the G5 is due out next month so the price may drop

Out of interest what does £150 buy you in terms of 2nd hand iPhone?

Thanks for letting us know about the G4, to be honest I did not think Motorola rated much, they have been bought and sold a few time (Google did an amazing tax dodge on them).

That G4 seems a really good choice for a 2nd phone to me, I have an old Apple and since the last IOS update it is sluggish and camera is not great. The G5 mentioned looks interesting too but unless in the same price bracket I think the G4 is the one to watch, huge amount of features for a budget phone.

Have a look at the Wiley Fox brand, had mine about 4 months and very happy with it.

+1 for the Moto G4. I've been using one for the last 3 months and find it a lot better than my old Samsung
  • Another vote for the Moto G4. I have had one for a couple of years now and have been very pleased with it.

Like my moto g4 only thing I find it lacking for is NFC for android pay.
  • I have just upgraded my original G4 (three years old, which I have been very happy with) to the latest G4 and the difference is amazing.

Much bigger screen, faster processor, better storage, 4G, better camera.

I've only had the new phone a week and am really pleased - so another vote for the Motorola G4.
