Like my moto g4 only thing I find it lacking for is NFC for android pay.
Actually for me that would be a benefit, paying with phone is a step to far for me.
I have one contactless card, all the rest I requested no contactless.
Is only a matter of time before these are hacked.
As it is if your contactless card is stolen and reported stolen it can still be used by thieves until the expiry date and YOU have to keep watch. It is a major flaw. Please be nice to all MoneySavers. That's one good thing about Apple/Android Pay-every time you complete a transaction it creates a 'one-off' token that's of absolutely no use to would-be hackers.
Granted there are some banks whom have debit/credit cards which, at the moment, can continue to be used even when it's been reported lost/stolen-hopefully the recent news surrounding the issue will lead to them closing this loophole (i.e. when the physical card needs to be inserted into the terminal to complete PIN verification).
Back to the original topic I'd also recommend the Moto G4-if you are OK to wait the new Moto G5 should lead to a price cut for the G4.It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
I think there are actually three versions of the Moto G4.
My teenager has the basic Play version which you can get for about £80 if you shop around. She loves it.
I have got the middle version which is good enough for me and was around £140 when I got it a few months ago.
My OH has the most expensive version which has fingerprint recognition and cost around £180.
A turbo charger also comes with this version.0 -

Moto G4 Plus?
It's a little outside the OP's stated price range, but I've got the Huawei P9 Lite ... it's an awesome phone for the money (currently £179 at giffgaff for example). I paid £199 in December and thought it was good value at that ... at £179 it's a bargain. If you search around you may even get it cheaper. (I found some places that were cheaper but I wasn't convinced about the integrity of the websites to risk handing over £160+).0 -
The G4 Play has got NFC, and the screen is 5" so it isn't as big as the G4 which has a 5.5" screen.0

The Huawei P9lite looks very good to me. I have had one for 6 months and it is just as good as my old Samsung Note. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0
