BT price increase is a money saving opportunity

So about 6 months ago I called up the BT cancellations line and threatened to leave. They gave me a big discount and I agreed to a contract extension of 12 months.

Last week I received an email telling me that prices are going up £2.50 and I have 30 days to cancel if I don't accept the price increase.

I called up the cancellation line, threatened to leave and expected them to waive the £2.50 increase.

To my surprise, they offered me a £9.50 per month discount. I didn't even ask for it. I literally had to cover my mouth as I almost burst out laughing. I've now got Infinity 2 (76mb) and BT Sport for £20pcm.

Make sure you all take advantage of this opportunity to save money mid-contract!

There are a lot of us who have left. When I called up a couple of weeks ago they didn't offer anything or even put up a fight so I jumped ship and have just had my phone and internet swap over today.
