Which "system" are you using? How and when is it crashing? Have you tried different browsers?0

Using Safari on both iPhone and iPad, get halfway through the application for the savings products, then error message says it cannot proceed and I am then logged off!
Just wondered if it was part of a wider issue?0 -
I would give it a try with Chrome. If that doesn't work either, call Tesco.0

It is a fairly common problem. Give them a call and they will open them for you. The next problem will be that you can't remove money from the accounts. They seem to have a fairly glitchy system

Yes trying to get your money out isn't easy. Maybe they are just being super cautious since they were hacked. It is a fairly common problem. Give them a call and they will open them for you. I think they have introduced that two year rate guarantee because that's how long it takes to get your money out

You need to call them before you can transfer money out of a savings account. This seems to be some recent change - on my previous 4 Tesco savings accounts I never had to call them for that, but for number 5 I did have to call them. Perhaps to do with the recent hack. In any case, it's only a short and painless phonecall.
I have been using Tesco banking extensively, for current, savings and credit card accounts, for the last two and a half years and can't say they have a glitchy system. Overall, their online banking is superb in its functionality. I hate the stupid need to click "manage account" before it actually loads any useful data and functionality after login but I bypass this now by using the mobile app which I find brilliant. I absolutely love that they make all your payees available to all your Tesco accounts - it's a functionality missing from all the other banks. I use Chrome or IE for online banking, and I know someone who uses Firefox, without problems. I suspect the OP's problems are due to Safari, which just isn't a mainstream browser.0 -

I have never experienced any issues and have been with them for over 2 years so not sure what these problems areRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Hi colsten. I have a joint account with my wife and am in the process of opening another. You mention that they make payees available on all accounts, but if my wife logs in and sets up a payment, it does not appear when I log in. So I guess each persons payments are kept separate? You need to call them before you can transfer money out of a savings account. I opened an internet saver for OH near this mid-day & set up a reg DD to fund it; no probs; was using Google.0

My accounts are all sole. Seems they manage payees on account holder, not on account level - which would make sense as each joint account holder could have sole accounts with payees that the other account holder should not be able to see.Shakin_Steve wrote: »Hi colsten.
