From http://www.trustedreviews.com/opinions/what-is-dash-charge-oneplus-3BUT YOU'LL NEED SPECIAL GEAR
To take advantage of Dash Charge, you'll need a special charger – the official OnePlus Dash Charge Adapter that comes bundled with the OnePlus 3. Without that, you're out of luck, as OnePlus isn't opening its technology out to third-party manufacturers.
You'll also need a bespoke cable to use Dash Charge, one that's thicker so it can squeeze through those extra amps.
Make sure you don't lose either accessory, though, as a new OnePlus Dash Charge Adapter costs £15.99, while the Dash Charge Type-C Cable will set you back £12.99.
Hope this helps0 -
In theory any USB-C cable should work, cheap ones work with my LG G5, although you may lose the rapid charge facility0

I have a USB-A to USB-C cable that I keep in the car to use if I even need to charge my phone (Nexus 5X) away from home, it's slow but works fine.0

Borderline IMO - What do you think it is? Because O2 seems to think its a phone, as do Techradar and GSM Arena - And the phone forum is for all things phone related!
I think it's entirely acceptable on this board - personally I regard the Phones board for non-technical issues, such as which phone should I buy or why have EE billed me incorrectly. However, I'm sure had the OP posted there they would have received the same answers as they have here. If you want to police what is posted here perhaps you should become a board guide on here and then you can move things that you think belong elsewhere.0
