DJ Iyer takes PPC's to town at Manchester CC

Awesome thread on FB "Fight your private parking invoice". A member of the group won her case vs VCS. The Judge apparently asked to personally hear all 12 parking cases being heard today and had already wiped the floor with Excel prior to this case.
It seems the Judge has the bit between his teeth and is taking on the scammers from the front - even appears to helping out the defence with their case :rotfl:
The thread is entitled "Daughter vs VCS in court tomorrow". I have asked the defendant to take her story to PP - the tide slowly turns - keep up the great work :T:T:T

Some quotes from the page...Judge actual said to their rep if I tried to charge you £50 to come into my room
Would you think it was fair. Would you pay it. Rep just crumbled stuttered shuffled papers and said no.Said as she was in car park with a valid permit she should have brought case against VCS as they didn't manage car park properly as on 4 occasions they allowed someone or mismanaged the car park as someone prevented her from parking in her spotWhilst waiting we overheard many of the legal reps chatting about DJ Iyer taking all the parking cases even though their were other judges freeJudge was fully aware of right of audience. He said previously denied your colleague but I know you mr pickup you have right of stay

VCS wanted £400 and Lost....Costs awarded against them plus their legal costs. Nice. Judge having a good day at the office.0

BRILLIANT
Whilst there is no precedence set in a county court their maybe
a "silent precedence"
As other judges were available, maybe they drew straws as to which one of them would spank the scammers.
I bet they chuckled over a coffee aterwards
Maybe Manchester will now be a no go area for Excel, VCS and all the other scammers. It will spread to other courts.
I can imagine BWLegal saying ... "We are not bovvered, do we look bovvered" :rotfl:0 -
A certain SRS will not be happy with this. We all know what he thinks about judges who get in the way of his money-making enterprises. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I've tried to find it using various obvious search terms via Google. Drawn a blank. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

SRS = Simon Renshaw-Smith as in Excel, VCS and Conkai. Captain Clampit. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
