Listen, I was giving my honest opinion, which I think everyone is entitled to
The problem is that your honest opinion may be factually incorrect, however well meaning your are. It can come across as marketing for said company.
Unfortunately, people who have just spent a lot of money on an installation want to believe that they have made a good investment. They often have nothing to compare their current use against. The old system may have been inefficient and/or broken. So any new system will seem to have a performance improvement.
While you may not have found the £30 heaters from Argos visually appealing. There are plenty of wall hung electric heaters that cost around the £100 mark which are very aesthetically appealing. These will work and perform in the exact same way as overpriced branded heaters.
Furthermore, as I stated above, Storage heaters are the cheapest way for heating an all electric property due to the tariff arrangement.
The only time standard panel heaters (of any brand) will be cheaper to run is if your lifestyle is well outside the 9-5 norm, i.e you will not in to benefit from storage heaters at the times you are in.0
