Are there any £1 Direct Debits?

Options
Someone years ago used to maintain a list of £1 Direct Debits, but I'm not sure where it is or if it is updated anymore.

Anyone know which companies/charities accept £1 DDs.

It's to jump through the hoops the banks are implementing to access their accounts.

Cheers.

Quite a few charities advertise with donations of £2 monthly. I'm thinking- WaterAid (just seen that), probably Christain Aid, Save the Children. If it's less than that they possible pay more in admin.

  • The Conservative Party is £2.09 a month. It's an acquired taste, though.

The Labour Party is between £2 and £4 per month, for those on the oppsoite side of the fence.

Neither are something I'd ever consider myself.

Tesco Internet Saver account lets you setup direct debits of any amount of choice. Basically you get to keep your money without having to choose between Labour and Conservative:T

Tesco Savings and Post Office both allow £1 DDs
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.
