I've never seen a Captcha on MSE, across either of my browsers Opera or Chrome.

Another Cloudflare forum that I use produces Captchas when I use the VPN facility in Opera. But I just tried this on MSE and there was no Captcha.

I'm pleased for you but speaking as one of the 'chosen few ' it's very irritating and time consuming.

Sure. There must be a technical reason, though.

    Multiple machines/Multiple copies of software?
Perhaps not all set up identically?

    Thank you both

Matt is taking this into our product meeting with our Tech team. We'll update you as soon as we have something to tell you. Hopefully, though, you'll notice a change before we post to let you know.

thanks MSE Andrea, sadly it's still happening,
I've been trying to add my usual comps to the
competition board earlier on & also adding links to the
daily threads on there but had the 'captcha' again multiple times,
did manage in the end to submit the links to daily threads
but am having problems still submitting to MSE for adding
    new competitions.
please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly. k2u58ioz4c8e.png

The use of Cloudflare / recaptcha is currently preventing me from posting [STRIKE]a competition[/STRIKE] two competitions in the postal, text & phone forum.

It's bad enough that we have to fill these in when entering some competitions but making it difficult/impossible to post a competition on MSE is ridiculous.

Happened to me for the first time this afternoon. Clicking 'I am not a robot' just produces a blank screen. Logged out, logged back in and all was OK.

Can we try bribing the tech team with biscuits?
You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.
