It's fantastic that you do, I'm very appreciative thank you. Many people win great prizes with your posts and that's just wonderful. I searched through many, many websites last night. I even searched out company logos to try and find comps that way and found nothing. I was soooo excited that I thought I found one but it was a product line called competition and not a actual comp. LOL
I won't let it beat me though, I'd like to find something to share. Thanks to all that post and good luck.0 -
I love FB comps, its where the majority of my wins come from
Each to their own.
I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!0 -
I don't mind the proliferation of FB comps per se, although a lot of them are for prizes that I wouldn't bother with - so I do red cross a lot of them. BUT I really wish that companies posting the comps would either a) use an app or b) just ask for a simple like or answer to a question. I hate the trend in asking for lots of personal info - questions seem to have gone from "why do you deserve this prize" to "tell us about how you met your partner" / "what's the most romantic thing that's happened to you" / etc etc. And so it goes on. I don't really feel comfortable sharing any kind of personal stuff on FB as I don't want the world knowing my business. So for me I just wish that the comps would say (eg) post WIN below - and discount anyone that added a sob story or a whoop whoop omg omg type post. Or just ask for the answer to a question or something!0

Surely that's just because of it being Valentines though Cagsd, just like you get what's your favourite pancake topping/scary movie/christmas present etc you could always make something random up I bet most of the answers are made up anyway xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Of course these specific examples are just due to Valentine's, I just quoted those as I've seen them today. But next it will be Mothers Day (I'm not willing to post sob stories about my dead mum, nor gush about how much I love my kids) then Easter and so on. Yes, I could make something up but that doesn't change the fact that I am still irritated by being asked for this information in public, whether it be true or false! They are just begging for the sob story brigade to turn out in full! So I just skip these comps.0 -
As for tiny prizes, 2 toddlers stormed in this morning and went straight for a pack of chunky crayons won from a blog comp (Thanks T T )
Tiny prize but huge grins and pictures drawn, whether it's tea bags or marigolds if It'll be used why not!
Weening spoons and a jar of food, a teether too all separate wins that were greatfully received by a new parent. Not much to some people but a great deal to others who are hard up
It's easy to click the cross if you don't want to enter but don't have a go at others who doA strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others.0 -
What about a separate section for FB comps.
That could help the people who are not on FB and save time searching through the comps tooI always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0 -
