Ohh laa dee daa I only drink Twinings so don't enter to win cheap bags! And I only drink my tea from a china tea cup resting upon a matching saucer and poured from a china tea pot! None of that dunk a bag in a mug for me! Oh and brownie points for those who offer me a selection of Mr Kiplings cakes, served from a cake stand, with little forks placed at the side!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

Here here! to that. I'm very grateful for all comps that are posted - thank you very much all.
I've come back to comping after a very long break and mainly because I now care for my husband so am at home a lot more. I've found it hard to get back into. It is probably due to my inability I suspect to move with the times. I have a mobile for emergencies, it doesn't have internet or polyphonic ringtones can't take a photo cos the screen is so dark and can't do a selfie because the lens faces the wrong way. Needless to say it hasn't heard of an app. I have facebook but the comments on there sometimes break your heart and then sometimes I think did I really need to know that. I don't have Instagram or twitter. I can't even say it's because I'm old but it all just seemed to pass me by. I just felt it was so much less technical years ago, you just popped along to colgate website for instance and they'd have a comp and you just entered your details. I liked the comps that were a bit of a puzzle too - the davinci code game was brilliant and everyone got together to post answers to the riddles, kept us entertained for ages and was good fun. I search websites now to find a comp to post for everybody and can't find anything. I'll keep looking to try and contribute though. Many thanks again to all who do.0 -
I enter facebook comps but I hate them and it must drive ppl mad seeing all my comp posts. A lot of you probably know my hatred for social media comps now as i'm always complaining about them lol, there weren't any when I started comping :think:Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

I must admit, I only enter a small handful of FB comps - usually apps or the odd L&C / L&T if the prize is decent and the company looks ok. I prefer the L&C comps that just require you to like and type 'win' or 'done' below and miss out the comps that ask you why you should win as I cannot be bothered to compete with the sob story novelists!
I also think that many companies handpick their winners anyway ie a small local company is more likely to pick a winner who lives in close proximity so that hopefully the winner will become a regular visitor and recommend to family and friends. For example, I cannot really see the point of a small bakery situated in a Lake District wanting to send their prize cupcakes to someone living down in London - as their cupcakes will be sent and eaten and that winner will never be heard of again!
I don't bother with Twitter comps and I do have an instagram account but haven't a clue how to share posts - I just use to follow companies and/or comment below their comp post.
Yes, there are lots of FB and Twitter comps posted on the main board at the mo but it doesn't take long for me to just red cross them if they do not titivate my fancyI would rather people posted comps than didn't.
