    But you ARE still using their infrastructure ... just not all of it. ;)

    (I'm presuming the call still goes through their network switches and on to the destination).

    That's what I use with Three - a dead spot in my house, so I have the Three InTouch app. It works well.

    Its moved on from the app now too, you don't even need it know with certain phones

  • Yeah, use 3 in touch. I've used it loads of times when I've been on holiday in obscure places and it works fine.

    Even if 3 still did the boosters I am not sure that they would have even given one just to fix a dead spot in one room of a house!

    Also it should be pointed out that the device that is being discussed is not a "Signal Booster" which would reley on bosting an exisiting phone signal.


    The Home Signal box is a Femtocell which connects to your home broadband and then produces a phone signal as long as it can connect to the internet.
