Galaxy S7 deals
Options
Hi all,
Still going with my galaxy S5 on Sim only at the moment but considering either a sim free phone (maybe on interest free credit card) and sim only deal or a new pay monthly contract.
I guess that with the S8 coming out in March the prices for the S7 might drop a little but the S6 has held strong...
Anyway, I'm thinking the best total price is going to be around £750 over the 2 years. I'm not a big user of calls and texts, data is more important. Currently with EE and they suggested 5GB would suit me. Their retention deal for me would be nearly £1k so just considering other options... I don't know if they can get close to the deals on mobiles.co.uk for new phones but hope to keep my number at least.
Any good advice or experiences to share would be most welcome

Definitely if you can buy the phone out right and a balance transfer is a good idea and then go SIM only.0

+1 to that. I've recently done the same and it's the way to go :-)0

Thanks both, I can see a potential attractive deal...
£12 a month sim only with Virgin, 2500 mins, unlimited texts and 6GB data
With the phone I've seen the price down to around £379 brand new
So would work out about £27 a month roughly. What would work well is getting the phone using a cashback site if possible and any possible vouchers etc. and paying with an interest free credit card over 24 months. I might consider whether a cashback card might even be better.0
