Buying a smokers house

We both smoke ,always have, in our current new home we smoke in one room only with windows open, plug ins and candles burning, you would never know we smoked.
In our last home when both kids were at home 4 of us smoked in every room, we sold it the day we put it up for sale to a young non smoking family no problems, i think the smoking police make too much of such issues shame they have nothing else to worry about !
You can't tell, I assure you that non-smokers can!
The only house I've ever been in where the occupants smoked and you couldn't tell was one where the wife was so house proud that they both only ever smoked under a little wooden shelter at the bottom of the garden, whatever the weather.
Keeping it to one room will limit the damage though, of course.0 -

The owner of the home we bought did that, we had to replaster! How come the kids didn't smoke outside, as clearly you wouldn't have smoked in the home when they were actually children due to the health risks. So surely when they started smoking, smoking in the garden of whatever was the norm.0 -
Only just stopped smoking, more to do with hideous chest infection than anything else, tho I had been planning on doing so.
My hubby and I don't/didn't smoke indoors, we have chairs outside or we go to the cabin at the end of the garden in nicer weather. I can smell smoke on smoker, and have always smelt it inside smokers houses , and that was when I smoked! It's very hard to get the smell out.0 -
You all need to get vaping. You can do it anywhere as long as you hold the vapour in long enough
My favourite place is the company board room, yes it's banned, but how will they ever know...:
PS if you don't smoke for Gawds sake don't start vaping.
