Dont worry it wont look like the IDS project. Unless your blind and its a fuzzy A5 sized picture from 300 yards away.

The doors appear to be the same, so they have changed the lights and nose slightly?

60KWh battery which will be a similar size to the current 30KWh one? How old is the technology in the current one? Seems a lot or improvement, unless their simialr size = considerably larger in reality.

Love the plastic bags. Should do that with my car to keep the stone chips off
Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.
  • Who would want to buy a leaf anyway? It looks boring, is stupidly expensive to buy and has a ludicrous rate of depreciation leaving a mere 23% residual value after 3 years. Add to that very mediocre performance and serious limitations in range.

I'd rather poop in my hands and clap than own one of those things.

Wouldn't that make a secondhand, 3 year old Leaf something of a bargain? - someone else has paid for the depreciation and you get the rock bottom running costs.

For driving around town, the performance and range isn't an issue and they're clean, you're not fouling up your local environment.

Maybe that's true but the running costs aren't that low. Battery rental is £70 per month or you could risk a £5000 bill for a battery if it packs in.

That wasn't what the poster claimed, they said not fouling up the local environment.

Because it suits my wants. I can charge it using my solar PV or Economy 7.

2p per mile against 10p per mile is not cheaper that a fossil burner? Only about 20 moving parts as against 2,000 is more expensive to service? I think not. One can buy the batteries outright.
